Dungones are mindless that follow the same formula and hasn’t changed at all and are only challenging in the first run

The open areas, while gorgoues, are just....there the exploration in the game is kinda boring with enemies barley being a threat and lack any reason to visit the new 12 areas besides beast tribes (Azim steppe/Churnning mists) and hunts

Fates are useless, not enough incentive to do them which is a dam shame since I like them especially ones that unlock other fates

Raids lack that extra challenge and have no real reason to be sacred to die

Trials are mostly ok, but the same issue applies with dungeons and raids. Just lacks a manner of threat, like if we wipe nothing much will happen

Eureka is dreadful, grind isn’t fun and is a horrible way to introduce the lv70 relic weapons, the maps aren’t that bad imagine a eureka template in the overworld?


+Wish we had savage dungeons or just anything that isn’t “use aoes for trash mobs, fight boss”
Formula that we’ve been following for 5 years
+ wish fates had some sort of currency to buy gear or glam anything to make them feel useful besides exp and relic quests
+wish the overworld had more flavor like classic MMOs have

“Guys! <insert NM> just spawned and drops <insert relevant drop> I need”


I like ff14 but it could be better
