I think you're assuming a lot about the raiding community here and, as often happens with assumptions, you're coming up empty.

You show me a raider that expects the average player to be able to walk into Savage and clear on their own merit with no time spent on improving and I'll show you an idiot. That's what "expecting top 10% play from everyone" would look like and I just don't see it.
