Really enjoying BLM atm, just got it lv50. But a bit confuse how I use fire II cus it has really low potency of just 80...Does it get used for aoe?
And and uh, do I ever use IceIII cus seems im always just procing the free FireIII Lol

Spam it on packs with 3+
Use Fire II on packs of 3 or more monsters like Genoreaper said. Two or less, use single target.
As for Blizzard III, you should be using it to switch to Umbral so you get MP back once you've consumed it all casting Fire spells. BLM generally doesn't want to spend a long time in Umbral, so once you're full MP and have refreshed Thunder, use Fire III to get back to Astral.
There's more to it as you get more skills, but that's probably enough to get you started.
So when im quickly gaining MP back in Umbral i should IceIII? cus i always just use Ice I. And shouldn't I transpose back to Fire stance instead of just using FireIII?Use Fire II on packs of 3 or more monsters like Genoreaper said. Two or less, use single target.

Use Fire 3 instead of Transpose, Just like was mentioned about swapping from fire to ice will give you three stacks of ice as soon as you cast Blizzard 3, going from ice back to fire will give you three stacks immediately when you cast Fire 3.
Additionally, being in ice makes you cast fire spells faster and vice versa, so the long cast times of Fire 3 and Blizzard 3 are greatly reduced when you use them to swap stances instead of Transpose.
If you have three stacks of AF and use
Transpose you go to UI 1. Less mana is returned per tick.
Using ice 1, cancels it out completely never use it in Astral fire
Using blizzard 3 will immediately switch you from 3 stacks of fire to 3 stacks of ice. Refilling your mp by the time you cast a single thunder spell. UI 3 also reduces fire sPell cast time and mp cost, so you can swifly get back into damage mode.
I really recommend you taking a few moments and actually reading your spell and trait tooltips and possibly watching a video or two on the class, you've already built some really bad habits
From ui at full mana you would use fire 3 to instantly go back to af3 and get that damage boost instead of slowly building either up
Helluuuuuuu

btw, even if Fire 3 has a higher potency than Fire 1, only use Fire 3 to get 3AF stacks, after that use F1 on ST or F2 on 3(+).at lv 50-59.. (just mentioning F3, cause it can trick new players into spamming F3 instead of F1)
when you reach lv 60, only use F2 on 4(+), since F4 is so powerfull

Ill just write it out. Your rotation - simple version.
Single target. B3 T3 F3 F1 F1 F1 F1 F1 F1 B3 repeat. If any of your F1s proc firestarter then use the free F3. If thundercloud procs try to save it for your normal T3 cast, but feel free to use it if its going to fall off or the proc expire.
Multi(3+) target. B3 T2 F3 F2 F2 F2 Flare Transpose T2 and repeat from there. After transpose you want to cast T2 as soon as you get a server tick of mana, then immediately hardcast F3 without waiting for full mana. Thundercloud procs are saved for immediately after transpose if at all possible(so theres no waiting on the server tick at all). You have the option to add Convert Flare and Ether Flare to get 2 more big hits in on a cycle if the pull is big/dangerous enough, but both the potion and convert have longer cooldowns so this isnt available every fight(let alone every time through the rotation).
Simple enough. Obviously this will change as you add more powerful spells later on, but this is your base rotation that youll be adding to/adjusting as you go.
