Server Merge Destination - EU Players

I thought it might be worth discussing where EU players on Cornelia might like to go. There aren't a huge number of active EU LS's (though there are certainly quite a few), however, there are a good number of EU players who are members of some of the same LS's, or who have friends in these LS's.

It seems a shame to potentially get broken up, and it would be nice to try and stay together if possible.

Knights Of The Round (KOTR - which I am leader of) is still deciding where we might like to go.

Any thoughts, anyone else?

I was waiting for this post.
Since none else has decided anything yet, I vote for World 1.

Cornelia is the first town of the first Final Fantasy game and none else has suggested anything yet so Number 1 is as good as any number.

This server tranfer gives us the oportunity to create regional dedicated servers so I hope most if not all people from Europe will follow.

Knights of the Round, Kweh, Emerald Dream, Valour, Luminair, Zodiark, Valkyrie Network, Dark Alliance, and all other LS that don't come in my mind atm, I'm asking the leaders of these LSs (since I'm assuming that LSs will want to keep together): do you want us to go together to the same server?

As the only active Sackholder in Kweh, alot of players have been asking me about merging because they want to stay together.

I agree, this way we will basicly have the same Cornelia's community plus the extras that join from low-population servers. (aka would look as if another server merged into ours).

Thats also another good option we can look at. It will result in a vast EU community on a single server.

However, if we do go to server No.10 there will prolly be very little non-EU players. Meaning we will loose all the NA players we already have because they will avoid server No.10.

It will be nice to hear from leaders of other LS of what thier thoughts are. We have to decide if its gonna be :

A) Server No.1 (or number X that we all agree on)

Pro : Have all Cornelia's community + alot of new players.
Con : Not very high on EU players since some will go to Server No.10.

B) Server No.10

Pro : have high EU pop
Con : few NA players.

Regarding server option 10, I would treat this server with care. Since it's the one recommended for EU players, it will probably soon be full enough for us to move to, especially if we plan on moving all together.
Eu players might not be enough to scale with japanese and american zones, but if they gather up in one single server, it will be definetly enough to fill it up.
Also, I personally would love to be in a server where there are players all the time, not language based or time zone based. But that's just me, as I've experienced to be able to play with most on different schedules. it's just awesome to play with people from all around the globe ;D

server 10 is a bad idea, if i wanted a area specific server theres plenty of games that offer it, but i like playing with NA's and im english and play late, so id be playing at dead times neway.
Server 1 idea would work but for one thing, server 1 is the most obvious choice for those with a my world is best and should be first attitude, which means we wont be the only people tryin for server 1, and with population caps on each server, if were trying 2 basicly move cornelia somewhere else then a server like 5/6 might work better
