Another MSQ queue wall for dps huh?

Yeah...I'm rather irritated at the moment. Had one queue pop for Menagerie, but one dps and one healer didn't accept...and it continues still.

Yes dps wait but everything longer then 20 min usually has a valid cause.

You could ask a tank or healer friend to boost the queue, or make a pf asking for one.

Yeah, it was really late at night, but we have European servers in our data center as well, so it would have been mid day over there. Regardless, 2 hours is still ridiculous. I eventually had to just bail and go to bed.

I actually just came back so I don't have any active friends to ask to queue or I would have. I've only run into a handful of people actually playing on our server as well. Our server feels like it's dying and it makes me rather sad.

If the game's getting to the point where you're forced to play a role you're not interested in playing just so you can complete the story, then it's about time to switch games all together.

But yeah, party finder's not a bad idea. I'll try again tonight and see what happens.

Update: Checking party finder, there are 16 total parties in Party Finder within the data center, that's virtually nothing compared to what it used to be . It's making me sad. I might just have to transfer to a Japanese server at this point. The game's still heavily populated over there.

You can try setting up a party in the PF and also mention you have a bonus. The benefits of using PF is that you can make a cross world party so don't worry too much if the world you are on is pretty quiet, you'll have the rest of the data centre to ask for help.

Occasionally it is possible to "fal through the cracks" of the duty finder queuing system. If you see queue times this long.. time to requeue. (Yeah, it sucks because DPS queues are long to start with).

Party Finder won't have much going on at 3AM eastern time.
You missed prime time by like 6 hours. But you can regularly find almost 100 PF entries at the right time.

This is true. I play on both Chaos and Primal, mainly just to level and alt and have people to play with during off peak hours. I'm not surprised you were waiting that long at that time. Maybe level a tank.

We have what, 50 different servers on our list including EU servers? It maybe 3-5am EST, but was almost noon over seas when I tried the first time. I'm guessing even the EU players are quitting. Back during ARR and Heavensward I could play all hours of the night and have no issues. It just shows that people have cleared the content or are getting bored with it. I'm used to a 30-40 minute wait, but 2 hours is completely unreasonable for a story mission.

As for leveling a tank. I'll repeat this again. If I have to play a class I don't want to play just to clear through the story, the game's too dead to bother paying for. If I still have problems this weekend I'll switch to JP and see how that goes. I can speak the language well enough to get by with the community there.
