As much as I complain about how easy dungeons are, I actually liked them being part of the MSQ. It broke up the monotony of “travel to X location, talk to X NPC... now go back to where you just came from and talk to another NPC... carry item A to location Y, etc.”. One of my favorites is still Sohr Khai because of how well they incorporated it into the 3.3 MSQ storyline; I never really felt like my story was being interrupted. But that’s just me.
Shor Khai was a lovely dungeon, I think my favourite is Snowcloak as I just find it so relaxing. I do really like it when we get a well integrated dungeon in the story and I've been missing them in StormbloodAs much as I complain about how easy dungeons are, I actually liked them being part of the MSQ. Wouldn't mind if they added fun content. Maybe like beach games content. Where there be water gun fights or beach volleyball something like that.
I don't mind the idea of the fight and harder 4 player content but I absolutely despise the overuse and reliance on one-shot mechanics for nearly everything.
Make a big mistake, your dead
Make a mistake, your dead
Make a teeny tiny mistake, your dead
Don't make a mistake but the person next to you does, your dead
Nobody makes a mistake but has a less than perfect latency... ooohhhh your SOOOO dead
There has to be other ways to punish players for mistakes besides off with their head...
To be fairly honest : Yes please.
This collab was a way for you to test a new format if I could say this like this.
Learn from it and design content like this in the future.
Sub-item, auto-raise, bonus, debuff, buff, different gameplay parts onto one battle,I don't how but you'll probably find out.
I give my vote to this.
Extensive thoughts : Don't be afraid and don't wait collab only to make small test like this.
If the community doesn't like it, you'll know you failed and that it's not something you should do again, but for the future, that's what we're asking.
4-man, it could be a EX trial again, or a dungeon, a raid...anyway

More 4 man extremes please! Love the fight.
I would like to see more difficult 4 man content - but most of the extreme/savage fights should remain 8 man.
And what I don't want:
- my survival being dependent on server ticks / latency
- playing dispel bot 9000 because my heals don't work
- walls around the arena when I have to watch the animations of the boss in order to avoid being killed. As a ps4 player, when I stand on the side of the rocks, it's sometimes nearly impossible for me to see Rathalos and if he targets me in the moment I try to adjust my camera - feels bad man.
As much as I don't really like crossovers. I really liked the fact you can choose your 4 man composition, you don't have to have a tank you dont have to have a healer.
This is EXACTLY what DQX does, there are so many bosses/trials/grottoes there and you choose whatever composition you deem suitable for each.
