Why mount from Rathalos EX??

I was hype for Monster Hunter World come in ffxiv.

Enjoyed new mount. When see in-game and very disappointed.

Scales+ from extreme for Rathalos mount.

Since I don't person for extreme. I alwasy wanted this mount so bad....
I'm very scary in extreme.... Thank you SE for bad idea.

Sounds to me like you're just not good enough to get it.

High end content needs its incentives as well. EX primals and savage mode raids offer mount rewards, so it's rather consistent from SE.

Yeah! How dare they lock a mount exclusively behind the harder version of a trial! It's not like they've done this for every EX since the ponies in ARR or anything, right?

I want to live in whatever world you live in. People get kicked or someone votes to disband after one wipe even in easy content. If all people were really that nice no one would be afraid to play with strangers.

But I was also disappointed that the mount is only from doing the EX version. My ilevel isn't anywhere near high enough because I deliberately don't play all the time and try to get the highest ilevel, so I can't even get in to begin with. I was looking forward to the event because I like Monster Hunter, but I was extremely disappointed that the mount is locked behind EX and there's no other way to get it.

Also: if it's supposed to be based off the way MH fights are, why are 8 and 4 people needed to do it? I solo'd all monsters up to the end of the story in MHWorld. Why can't I do that here too?

If you go in with a full group you bypass the ilvl restriction(its always worked this way). And i mean, increasing your ilvl would probly be pretty easy if you wanted to. There are almost a half dozen sources of gear higher then this requirement you could try out. Also, the patch in september is raising the ilvl by 30 again, so therell be new gear even further above the min for this meaning youd need even less of them to get past the restriction.

As for a solo attempt, unsync should be available in 5.0... look forward to it?

I find the EX version hard on my eyes so I may be taking my time farming it, personal problem, but I can still complete the EX version just fine after putting in the time and effort to learn it.

If I can do it I am sure you can do it? So it seems to me you are giving up without even trying.

Get fellow players to learn the fight with you and practice.

This EX is technically easier than the others, it is a shorter fight by about half (if you run the basic setup of 1 tank, 1 healer, and 2 DPS), and the mount is actually easier to get (50 clears instead of 99). If you get unlucky and not win a lot on one dropping from the box that is.
