If your matched party cleared the boss your save is fine, if anyone dc'd while the fight wait until he comes back and dont defeat him before, so no reason for any increases for the post-Boss timer.In DD or HoH, when the instance ends with a player that has DC'd the file is corrupted. At higher floors this is soul-wrenching for something no one can control. Now this is probably intended to prevent cheese but there are way fewer applications then there are times it can ruin a run. To fix this I think the timer after the boss for the instance should be extended past the 10m it currently is to an hour. This would make the maximum length of a HoH/DD reasonable in line with Eurekas, Diadems, Ultimates, and O4/8 but also give a much larger chance for DC'd players to come back in time before the game punishes them no apparent reason. I can't think how this would allow players to cheese the dungeon or boss itself with this change.
