Unlike in MHW you have no real way to dodge the attacks other than simply backing up outside of melee range which cost dps. I still think MHW got the better deal out of the collaboration as the Behemoth fight seems more engaging.

Overall though I like Rathalos EX. Just wish they would have given us the Flagship monster instead of the classic rathalos

You can dodge and keep uptime unless he moves away from you then its a simple matter of following him

Uptime doesnt even matter. You could just use your ranged skills as a melee and still contribute.
