You're wrong. A lot of people had to give up on launch day Titan HM because difference in latency meant they couldn't avoid mechanics that needed you to make a fraction of a second decision. Rathalos doesn't even give you much of a warning in the final phase that he's coming for you let alone whether you have a perfect connection or not, he just blinks and you and you're dead.

He only have 3 attacks in second phase:
- Targeted triple fireball,
- Fire spray directly in front of him,
- Poison claw charge.

That's it. If you're not in front of him, you never need to worry about the spray. If he's not charging up triple fireball, assume he is doing poison claw. Also, keep an eye on the name of his target - he literally does the mechanic at whoever is listed (even the triple fireballs). Same applies as first phase, being at his sides means he must turn to you, giving you extra time to react. He always does poison claw after triple fireball, as well. Rathalos also does a little "hop" (floats up, whatever) at the start of the charge.
