If you feel that this fight gives no warning to get out of the way, you are also wrong. Think launch day Titan HM. You just need to adjust to the pace of the encounter and react faster.

You're wrong. A lot of people had to give up on launch day Titan HM because difference in latency meant they couldn't avoid mechanics that needed you to make a fraction of a second decision. Rathalos doesn't even give you much of a warning in the final phase that he's coming for you let alone whether you have a perfect connection or not, he just blinks at you and you're dead. At least Titan gave some indication that he was gonna drop a landslide or ground puddle underneath you. I'd have Titan HM over Rathalos any day.

Rathalos doesn't even give you much of a warning in the final phase that he's coming for you let alone whether you have a perfect connection or not, he just blinks and you and you're dead.

He only have 3 attacks in second phase:
- Targeted triple fireball,
- Fire spray directly in front of him,
- Poison claw charge.

That's it. If you're not in front of him, you never need to worry about the spray. If he's not charging up triple fireball, assume he is doing poison claw. Also, keep an eye on the name of his target - he literally does the mechanic at whoever is listed (even the triple fireballs). Same applies as first phase, being at his sides means he must turn to you, giving you extra time to react. He always does poison claw after triple fireball, as well. Rathalos also does a little "hop" (floats up, whatever) at the start of the charge.

In your eyes perhaps. But in reality, I'm not. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but there really isn't any way to sugar coat it.

He does, the fact that there are multitudes of people out there with 50+ kills attests to that. The warnings and signs are there, you just haven't learned how to read them yet.

Stop blaming it on things out of your control and consider what you can do to improve your approach and you'll get it down no probs. I had to do a similar thing when I first approached Titan HM (gogo NA based EU servers, I feel your pain there).
