Does anyone think its a little bit much to have to grind this damn fight 50 times for the mount? You only get 1 scale+ per fight? That doesn't feel right for an event. 10 times is understandable, but 50? Who the hell thought that would be ok? An event should be something almost everyone can do, not a raid like reward. Feel that they need to reduce it.

It can drop out of a box when you beat it along with the minion and the sheet music. The box just doesn't appear that much. The 50 is more of a failsafe in case you get really unlucky like the 99 ex primal totem turn in.

It's also permanent, if it was limited yeah 50 would be a bit much but since it's here to stay it's not as big a deal. If they decide you can unsync it later on it will become a joke.

It's not an event, it's a crossover. A permanent one at that. Rathalos ain't going anywhere and will still be around for 6.0 where you can probably solo him. Wait until then if 50 fights instead of our regular 99 is too much for ya.

This is not a limited time event. It's a permanent trial. Considering that HW birds and SB doges take 99 tokens to buy, Rathalos EX actually requires far less grinding than any other EX if you don't get lucky with drops. Especially considering you can buy the mount, upgrade glams, and get minion and scroll (if really unlucky) for 72 scale+

This is the most exhausted primal I’d ever farmed.
I never farmed primal more than 40 kills til I got the mount but all thoses 40 runs ain’t make me tired this much.
By the way,Is the mounting animation is the same for all race ?

I collect 50 scales yesterday. With good party you can do one run in 6 min. It was not that bad after all. Take 5 - 6 hours collect 50 scales. Just farm everyday one hour and you get it in the week.

Having done this as RDM (with no on demand insta cast GCD) and my DRK, I can say while it can feel easier as a ranged, it ONLY feels easier as a ranged, if you're the only one sitting at a ranged position.

If everyone is at his left foot, or behind him in phase2, its far easier in melee range.
But the moment a SINGLE person is roughly 5yalms away from melee range, the boss is instantly harder as a melee, as you're now at a very dangerous position the moment the boss runs after a ranged person.

in short, if everyone, including ranged people, are only at the 2 safe spots (in melee range) then the fights a joke, as long as u dont have a random ping spike right as he turns.

(on a side note,why is it no one ever saves their burst for when he's downed? I keep seeing WARs hitting zerk the moment its up, and then having storms eye wear off mid down phase, im like, how were you not spaming eye the whole time? and how do you not have zerk up? Tail goes undestroyed, nearly causing a hard enrage, or causing it.)

I should've leveled a tank cause I still have 1 clear. While i love the fight, the fight clearly hates me. D:
