EuroAsylum is more and more leaning to go with 9alamecia. We still have time to go before the selection process takes place, so not in a real rush. I think we should stick to the 9alamecia idea though, and try promote it.

I will post here as soon as my LS has made a clear decision.

A quick look tells me that nobody has announced server 9 for themselves yet, so going with that certainly seems to offer a good opportunity for everyone to stick together. 9alamecia seems like a good pick to me.

We are currently looking into making it possible to go by plan #2 which received many feadbacks and keep the merit from plan number 4. We need to check and verify the technical side and schedule so please give us until beginning of next week.

This is repeating what was mentioned before but at current timing there are few saying we are forcing this server merge but please understand that we are not.

Yes this was already planned, we were developing a function where we announce how many players were requesting for each world every few hours. Even if plan 2 was used we were planning to do this.

I wouldnt go on numbers being used instead of letters... and why would SE use english letters anyways?

That had a bit of trouble making since, but since numbers are the only thing we can go by, I agree with the OP on 9alamecia.

At Idle Talent we got a pretty hefty social Linkshell going and enjoy the Palamecia community as well. If everyone here can come up with a clear consensus and get in touch with myself, Planet Killer or Narex Submiteous that would be great. Of course, this all depends on what plan the devs make their mind up on and go with.

I’ve been looking at the threads across all regions and I’m sorry that this has caused a huge disturbance amongst each of the regions.

Currently, we're seeing a lot of feedback that favors plan ②, and we're considering revisions that use plan ② as a base while retaining the merits of plan ④. The operations and development teams will continue to gather everyone’s feedback while we investigate further. This is also a technical matter and we also need to confirm schedule timing, so I’m sorry to say that we’ll need some additional time and that this will continue through the weekend and into the start of next week.

For the Topics announcement, we considered temporarily taking it down, but we decided against that as we feared that if players were unable to see the information, you wouldn’t be able to discuss it with the same background knowledge. Therefore, we’ll be keeping the current announcement up as we go into next week.

Just to reiterate, there are a lot of players that are voicing their concerns, and we will strive to find an acceptable balance as much as possible before moving forward. Therefore please keep this in mind and try to understand our reasoning.

With this new info I think we should just sit tight a few days and see what happens. We might not have to pick a server at all, and still remain a community if they go with option 2.

From what I gather the new world names will be based on items like Excalibur, Aegis, Ragnarok, Ridill, Balmung, etc...

Still hoping they wont name the servers till after the merge, IF people have an option to choose.

Interesting Lord Asai, I like that idea of new names, if we have to loose the name Palamecia, which I like a lot and will always miss (FFII melancholy...), I rather have a new name.
