    Server merge complicates friendships and ls's alike-> Give us 1 or 2 NA servers

    My idea is simple. Since I don't like the lag and ping( or w/e you call it) caused by servers being in Japan, and SE is giving us this overcomplicated server merge; now is the perfect time to move 1or 2 servers over to NA so we can have all the benefits of a server close to home.

    Thoughts?

    Edit: Might as well do away with last names now too, while we're at it.

    So then all the NA players flood to them and when its full and more NA can't play...what then? xD Also no, the lag is not caused by the servers being in Japan as there's virtually no lag (especially to the point it affects gameplay) with FFXI, also housed in/near Japan.

    The problem is poor configuration.

    2. They plan on fixing the lag with better servers in 2.0 and I think (hope/wish) that'll do away with any latency problems, even if the servers are still in Japan.

    3. Separating NA players is not a good idea imo, I like the international mix a lot

    4. What does doing away with last names have to do with anything? Why would most people want this and not just you? :s
