I've noticed less Base camp AFKers, before nerfs we had 60+ people almost always camping waiting for NMs, since nerfs now I notice number is around 20 - 30 people afking at spawn.
A system error occurred during event movement.

My original plan was to hit 35 and get one relic.
So far I've only managed to do the challenge log for 2 weeks. Trying to grind in Eureka Pagos is the most bored I've ever been in XIV and I've done huge grinds before like Yo-kai and both ARR and HW relics while they were current. It's honestly making me miss Diadem since I could at least make steady progress towards the mount with Spoils.
I sincerely hope that SE puts the 3 TT cards in there on npcs in the future since they can't be traded between players. Even if I get motivated enough to go back there's a lot of awful RNG to get through for the happy bunny one. =/
If it helps I got The Snow Queen Card 4 times in about 25 wins, The Happy Bunny Card on my 18th Silver Chest, (52nd Chest overall) and 2 Louhi cards in 10 wins.
But its all RNG so it can be much worse. But overall my experience getting them was not too horrid. Though the bunnies were a bit mind numbing and way too many chests were bronze.

is it just me or does nearly every person who tries to defend pagos say some variant of people just want relics handed to them? also non of the complaints are about it being a grind its that the grind doesn't match the reward
becoming my enemy would be unwise

It's not just you. A lot of them really want to find justification in their love of doing a rotation on the same enemy for three hours with no additional strategy.
I don't get it either.

Is this a reference to chaining? If so, that's not how chaining parties actually work. Chaining parties do fight NMs close to their levels. Often they are the ones spawning those NMs. Good chaining parties also switch things up.
It's much better to have real potential consequences for a party wipe and an open world feel, where you feel like you are actually there. You can't say the same for most instances outside Diadem and PvP. The other instances remind me of the rail system. The mechanics never change. Once you know a fight, it is simple repetition. If you want to really adapt and use tactics and strategy, then do PvP. A tactic or strategy that wins you one match will get you wrecked in the next.

I wish I could find these "good chain parties" you speak of. I've looked and only found disappointment. Everything's about efficiency in Eureka, for better or worse, and until we can find out SE's golden light method, it has led to only really mind numbing hand numbing gameplay.
Level syncing ever going to be a thing?
It’s still bad.
I've been through a lot of content, both relevant and old. I'm about to hit 14k achievement points for that matter, with all the work I've done, including some already-excessive grinding. Pagos is terrible, loaded with bad design choices, void of good features, and reminiscent of the things I hated about XI (which I additionally played during the lowest point in my life).
Pushing myself to get four weapons done is torture, and I feel like I should be demanding a paycheck from SE.
