    Pagos is ruined. The NM train is back and it's back to afking and doing nothing most of the time. Going into pagos with a group of 8 to chain demanded teamwork, strategy and commitment. Honestly, if they wanted to fix anything, they could've just made chains give more exp. Turning Pagos into Anemos 2.0 is just dreadful.

    Chains are still a better source of light then NMs, so anyone who actually wants to get multiple relics before 4.4 drops will be chaining.

    Some ppl like the grind. Some ppl like the train.

    But can we all agree neither are good forms of content and SE should hire someone to think outside that very small box they built for themselves and try to come up with something a bit more interesting?

    I'm honestly loosing faith in Yoshida. He was great at getting this game running again but he doesn't seem to be too creative. Maybe its time they bring in some new, more creative blood to take a look at things. And if its not him, if it really is someone behind a desk somewhere they has likely never played a real game, maybe that person should realize they could make more money if they let creatives do the creating and just stick to their paperwork.

    To be fair, I really don't think it was their reasoning, although I have seen it in other businesses. But it's still a reason I don't want to just forget how Anemos and Pagos are still terrible in the relief of "they're finally doing something."

    And also, to be fair, SE has shown before that they don't care about a lot of Western stuff, and it wouldn't surprise me if they're not even thinking about that.

    I'll never understand this sentiment.
    If there's a better, faster way to get more people to level cap... why not just go with that? Then more people will be able to contribute to X, Y, and Z, and not hold everyone else back.
    Sure, it'd be great if they'd implement party level sync so anyone can help everyone without having to rely on the train. Now if only the JP playerbase would get on that same page and raise enough of a stink to get that done...

    It's not the XP that makes it a superior choice.

    Edit: I know you don't agree, but I don't find the trains fun. In Anemos it was me and a few others doing all of the work.
