Feast Regional Championship Competitive Integrity at risk

One of the most important eligibility criteria for an official tournament such as The Feast Regional Championships (FRC) is to not breach the Terms of Service (ToS). Already being an important aspect of integrity and fairness during the The Feast (4 on 4 - Solo) seasons, breaching of the ToS has been widely prevalent and known throughout the PvP community for a long time. This specific breach of ToS I'm referring to is known as boosting.

Having said all this, allowing players who publicly advertise their "boosting service" and other ToS-breaching acts to participate in an FRC PvP Team should not be allowed. Allowing players like this to play in an official tournament would disrupt the competitive integrity in question for the whole tournament. There has been a team that recently formed with a notorious booster on their PvP Team roster. The notorious booster has advertised their "boosting service" on their Twitch.tv account and boosted many characters in the most recent Solo season taking up multiple Top 100 spots on the Solo leader boards.

Speaking for all passionate and dedicated PvPers, we all want to see The Feast grow and succeed. Having an official tournament is a big step that Square Enix and the Final Fantasy XIV team are taking to popularize The Feast, and as dedicated players we are all going to support it to the fullest. SE and the FFXIV team acknowledging PvP communities such as PvPaissa and MogTalk has displayed their efforts in trying to continue growing the PvP community. In an ideal world, there would be no cheaters or unfair players at all. Unfortunately, this will most likely never be the case. However, we can work towards the ideal world and start removing players who put the competitive integrity of the FRC at risk.

Last Season this player ran amok on Primal and Aether Data Centers with many alt characters all belonging to other players requesting PVP Boosts services.
At the time a forum thread was created as a community response against this player and Boosting in general in PVP.

Now its showing up in FRC... I really hope some justice will finally be brought down on this player. Not only has it effected people in the solo seasons but now it will effect those trying to complete.

This particular player has also recently started using 3rd party programs to assist in their gameplay, i'm concerns they might convince their team to also use these 3rd party programs to further assist them while playing, I do hope something is done about this player as they have been doing this for a really really long time.

I've seen them brag openly about it on their Twitch channel. If SE wants people to take Feast seriously (with the Championship) they've really got to bring the hammer down on these cheaters and traders. People like this are why Feast in particular has such a bad rep.

One of the Reasons i dont play Feast seriously anymore. First thing that comes to my mind seeing a recent top 100 player: "Hmm.. how much did he Pay?" I know im not alone with those thoughts. Noone takes FFXIV PvP Seriously anymore cause seemingly nothing is done about those who destroy it.

The integrity already took a big hit with the EU eligibility issues and late notice on rules. There is also an EU team in the top 5 that has one previously confirmed solo queue booster in. The thing is, no one really cares enough about it to take action and the EU scene doesn't have enough players as it is.

The reputation of PVP will always get 'boosted' 'wintraded' and 'residentsleeper' reactions from the general population, it's unfortunate, but that's the reality of the situation.
