Requesting to make unsubbed players not to be distributed, but placed into limbo. Logging on after transfer period, these returning players get a chance to choose their server.

Requesting ALL new names be given to servers instead of carrying over existing ones.

Requesting to make alternative choice of server transfers through account website.

Reasoning: You are on Lindblum. Some shellmates in multiple shells have unsubbed. Lindblum moves to server 2. Server 2 gets renamed to Selbina. Shellmates return and don't see any SE stickies that Lindblum = Selbina. Shellmates join New Lindblum and can't find you there.

This should be offset some with people using the Follow feature on Lodestone and external Linkshell message boards.

How many people are currently unsubbed that are going to stay unsubbed for the next month or more?? If they are out for that long, they are probably not coming back. Seems a big change to make just for a super small percentage of players.

EDIT: I am not against the idea of giving the servers new names, I think its a great idea, just think there is probably a better reason to do it. Like simply because choosing 'Server 9' is just dumb.
