I need help finding a feature, that I think exist but can't seem to locate.

I was watching a video where in the maker had a setup so that when an enemy targeted an ally, perhaps because of enmity, or something a green cursor appeared over the ally's head, signifying he was the enemies primary target.

As a healer I find such a feature highly useful for extreme content and higher. Knowing which Tank is the Main tank can sometimes become jumbled if they have to switch or rotate because of a tank buster or some other mechanic, or perhaps a mistake occurred and someone who shouldn't be tanking is like a dps or another healer, this would help highlight the error sooner for me so i can try and focus more quickly, instead of looking over to the party list and seeing whose health is lowest, or who has aggro,(makes it easier to prioritize the healing).

Anyway if anyone recognizes this feature, and could help me out, i'd greatly appreciate it.

You should be targeting the boss a good chunk of the time anyway so you should be able to see who has primary aggro. Other than that just take a glance to see who's taking auto attacks in the party list. If such a thing exists I don't believe it's an in-game feature. Probably an add on feature.

Did you just see the Focus Target I'm action, perhaps?
The default key is Shift+F on keyboard. You can set it to anything you can target.

Perhaps your right, I already use focus target but usually on the enemy and I don't recall it ever being green, so there is a good chance that had i ever used it on a ally i might have seen that. Though a feature as prescribed would be a nice one.

It may have just be a recolored focus target, but...

Most addons when it comes to this kind of stuff... are plugins to a certain infamous parser. It's capable of far more than just parsing, and is really pretty much a platform for a wide variety of UI mods and similar.

Unfortunately - we're under "don't ask - don't tell"/"fight club" style rules where addons are officially not allowed. SE will turn a blind eye if you use them silently, but we can't discuss more than vague details here on the OF nor in game. These sort of questions should be taken to unofficial FFXIV sites/discords/etc, as we just can't just say "Yeah's it this one addon, go download it here".

You can do it with a macro. e.g.,

/ac "Stone" <tt>

If you're targeting the tank, this will cast stone on the tank's target (I mostly use stuff like this for lazy fate grinding).
