I'm only doing it at this point to help Krile out, because she's awesome. Otherwise I could leave the place forever and not miss it.

FAR too comfortable. This is why I honestly feel like they did the wrong thing pushing this MMO. I play DQX even though I'm not Japanese, we get constant updates. At DQ Fest East the other week they announced the next THREE patches, an expansion, a new job ( Jester ), new mini games, hair highlighting and other stuff, they don't wait for their content they have so much to do.You do realize that patches are now closer to 4 months right? 4.3 release back in May and 4.4 is in September. I personally feel that they are spread out content far too much and it's definitely easier to un-sub for periods at a time now. The only thing keeping me to this game is the addiction factor. After coming back from a four month break I can see now that the FFXIV team is getting a little too comfy with their content and it's starting to show.

I'm starting to wonder if eureka is mentioned to be played as a fc. If you come late will need people to get those fates down. Problem is you can't que in as an alliance and for all that work all you're getting is glamours? I don't know s.e. they need to take a huge step forward with this and add pop items for claimed bosses that will be with the trouble.
There's the bonus fact that Data center is all the worlds, not just Cerb. That means out of an entire Data Center, Remedi's saying there's 2 full 144 room servers.Math for giggles. You're on Cerb, which has ~12,800 "active" players according to census. Let's halve that for fun, since people log in and out constantly. Two full Eureka instances, at 144 per, is 288 total players. 288 out of 6400 is 4.5% of the total playerbase of your server. Even if we double that to account for attendance shuffling, it's still less than 10% of the server's players. 10% with heavy, pop positive bias number fudging.
That's hilariously pathetic. Even the high end raiding scene, which is argued as the vast minority, has more than that I'm pretty sure. Your casual content has to be a flop if that little people want to do it.
For another comparison I think more people are active in pvp right now than Eureka lol. There's the bonus fact that Data center is all the worlds, not just Cerb. That means out of an entire Data Center, Remedi's saying there's 2 full 144 room servers.

Honestly I just afked in Eureka and played the Switch while waiting for stuff to spawn. SUCH ENGAGING content. Not.
Hopefully non raising jobs won't be as scrutinized like the beginning of Eureka. I have a tank class as backup since, well... people hate tanking that content for some reason.
Just a quick sidebar - but for the entirety of the Legion expansion WoW successfully managed a 3.5 patch cycle. They still suffer from their "end of expansion" woes, but they've been steadily reducing it.
I never cared for FF14's alternating patch release (low skill - high skill) nonsense, but I did always like how frequently they made updates. Their new strategy of stalling content and spacing it out because of "overwhelming # of things to do" is borderline offensive to me as a player.
You're the type of person who prefers waiting in line at six flags rather than riding the rides?Pagos is being released in two days o.o?
I think it's good they spread out content like this. It makes the waiting for the next patches much more exciting, as we get new updates every month, and it also gives my friends new reasons to keep coming back to play with me. I'm personally up for it.
Especially seeing it's a straight up lie. Even at a very casual pace, 4.3 could have been completed over a weekend yet we were told to wait six weeks. The only aspect with any kind of continuous commitment were the Namazu, and they're only twenty minutes a day, tops. It's absurd they claimed this was "too much" content. Frankly, I suspect the stalling has to do with having no idea how to balance rewards due to their ilvl structure. Although, even that logic doesn't hold since the relic has now been reduced to little more than glamour as even if it's i370, the vast majority of players will have tome weapons on their mains and even an alt by this point. And a month later, the relics are worthless as a progression tool.Just a quick sidebar - but for the entirety of the Legion expansion WoW successfully managed a 3.5 patch cycle. I can appreciate any significant changes wouldn't occur before an expansion given the complexity. That said, they absolutely need a new strategy come 5.0 otherwise I very much doubt they'll be championing any "largest subs" claim. And for the love of the twelve, stop delaying content.
