i am hoping for armor upgrade and has a complete change in looks
Comparing Chaos set to Abyss set such a down grade
Funny, all my friends are sick of the content we have been getting in FF14 and are playing WoW now.Pagos is being released in two days o.o?
I think it's good they spread out content like this. It makes the waiting for the next patches much more exciting, as we get new updates every month, and it also gives my friends new reasons to keep coming back to play with me. I'm personally up for it.

Math for giggles. You're on Cerb, which has ~12,800 "active" players according to census. Let's halve that for fun, since people log in and out constantly. Two full Eureka instances, at 144 per, is 288 total players. 288 out of 6400 is 4.5% of the total playerbase of your server. Even if we double that to account for attendance shuffling, it's still less than 10% of the server's players. 10% with heavy, pop positive bias number fudging.

To be fair, Amemos was the first iteration and they added both relic weapons and armor, thus it piqued people's interest. I suspect the same intrigue won't be nearly as widespread this time around. Even then, Eureka still garnered a sizable negative reaction—enough even Kotaku wrote an article about it.I dunno, ppl yet complain about Fate grind yet there were two complete eurekas on my data center and they are usally full at least one.
I'm not really sure what to think now, perhaps SE is right just use a carrot and everything is done.
Perhaps I should stop caring about it and just play the game, seems that anything unrelated from my entertaininment is just making my life worse at this point
The progression trendmill is so meh and pathetic that most players become complicit in it. That's why imo, relic weapons and the other different upgradeable weapons in FFXI will always be better. They took time to fully power up but it was well rewarding, give you more to do and you got a weapon that would last you more than 3 months. Most of those weapons could last you years. And they even got further upgrades quite a while ago so hanging on to them was even more worth it.
The downside to that is if you didn't or couldn't do a relic, you were considered useless for all but healing and support jobs.

You are still fudging the numbers in your favor, although I don't think it was intentional. People don't log in to do only one thing and do it most of the week.Math for giggles. Of course Eureka fills, it's the premium source of your Mendacity cap. There are also players who dislike Eureka but are dragging themselves in there before next patch to keep up to date on the weapon.
I really hope they don't look at activity as an indicator for how successful content is.

Worse relic out of all 3 questlines

About the only good thing I have to say about the Eureka gear/weapons is that you can store it in the glamour dresser.
Which is all it's really good for -- it's a grindable glamour without any real ingame use, outclassed by everything in tier except normal mode raid gear.
