Quest jobs after a level boost?

So, I'm a bit confused. I recently got back into the game and decided to start fresh with a new toon to re-experience the story, and wanted to level boost to go along with it. So I boosted up my Summoner and I'm glad I did, I've enjoyed it, but when I went to start the job quest "A Book with Bite" (the quest you're supposed to be on post-boost) it isn't available. Is there something else I have to do?

Did you use the story potion in this new character?
I think this summoner quest requires you to finish Heavensward MSQ too.

I did, yeah. My summoner is up at 70 so I was like "wow I should probably go get caught up on my quests so I can finally get Bahamut" but I'm only a bit into Heavensward... makes sense in hindsight that that's the issue.

It's the MSQ requirement then. You need to do "The far edge of fate" MSQ to be able to do the next summoner quest.
I have a level 60 alt and the quest icon doesn't show in the map since I didn't finish the MSQ yet.
