Lancer job/class chaging

Hi there,

I have 40l lancer and cant find the quest for changing job to Dragoon. Can anybody ask where can I find it? Is there any requirements? I heard that need to have 15l marauder additionaly, is it?

your Dragoon quest should be in coerthas highland
if you have done all lancer quest

thanks, i'll try to find. Can it be that I haven't update "Heavensword"? probably need to update also?

Dragoon is available without any expansions installed, and without having to level any other class. You're only required to have completed your Lancer class quests, which will lead to the DRG quest being available at the Lancer's guild. You're also required to have completed the story up through some of the early Sylph quests.

All of the class upgrade quests work basically the same way. You level you class up to 30 and complete all the class quessts, you get the MSQ storyline to the low 20s(quest needed is i believe Sylph Management), then an NPC in your classes guild hall will offer you a new quest to upgrade to the related job(lancer -> dragoon for instance). Then when its time for the next job quest, go to where your NPC took you previously and they should be waiting. It sounds like the dragoon quests(after the first one) start in CCH.

guys, thank you for help, but I have no idea whats wrong...
in completed quests I see all mentioned sylth management and related so one, in lancer's guild I havent active quests, in MSQ list I see last completed quest - proof of might...in mentioned CCH I see available class quest for Dragoon but its red for me

The quest to become a Dragoon should start very near to where you turned in your level 30 Lancer class quest. Basically, as soon as you have done the last Lancer quest you should be able to see the questgiver for the Dragoon quest.
You also need to have finished the level 20 Main Story Quest "Sylph Management". The requirement to have leveled some other class went away when Stormblood was released.

Try clicking on the quest giver for the DRG quest even if the quest window is showing red/locked - it should tell you the reason why you cannot currently do that quest and the requirements for it.

That's your level 35 quest. Have a look in the soul crystal part of your armoury chest (bottom symbol, left side), looking for the soul of the dragoon. Equip it, and you should be good. If you don't have it, then you need to contact support, I should think.
