    Free Company Recuitment Board

As someone who isn't currently in a Free Company and doesn't plan to join one for some time, I am really tired of random invites. I used to decline politely but now I just ignore em entirely since at this point it's like spam. This has been going on for the past several months now and I'd like to just have some peace. Even stating in my search info I wasn't looking for one people still send invites and pester through tells.

    But enough complaining from me,

I had an idea for a sort of board similar to the Market that would be posted up in major cities where people can recruit others for their Free Company instead of randomly inviting strangers or filling the shout chat with advertisements. Leaders could list what kind of FC they are, what they're looking for, what they do, and maybe a short summary about themselves. There would be an option next to each one to send an application/show interest in joining. I'm sure they could be placed anywhere, maybe on the walls of the Grand Company headquarters that they're formed under?

Not only is it less annoying for people who don't want to be in any groups at the moment, but it also feels like a nice idea for people seeking them out including anyone new to the game.

That sounds like a really good idea.

This can actually make it easy for new players as well, since they can have a quest that leads them to the Free Company Recruitment Board where they can join an FC early on. Otherwise, they would have to chat on NN or shout in cities (which I've noticed some new players struggle trying to figure out how to use the chat for a while).

There are FCs that use the Party Finder for this. That requires that people actually go looking though, which I suspect is the reason so many FCs use /shout instead to advertise.

Also, new players don't get access to Party Finder for a while at the start. So /shout is sort of the best option.
