It’s my personal opinion that locking just a 15% barrier behind both a fairly high MP cost and a fairly long cooldown is a bit too excessive. 180 seconds as a cooldown would be more than enough for a party-wide shield every three minutes — it would make it almost similar to a BRD’s Mage’s Troubadour, which increases maximum HP by 15% for 30 seconds, and is locked only behind an 180-second cooldown (and being in Mage’s Ballad, of course). Mage’s Troubadour is a bit different from a shield, but they’re both 15% HP buffers.

Granted, this would see more usage than Mage’s Troubadour; the Troubadour most favored in current Savage/Ultimate content is Minuet’s Troubadour because of all the magical damage.
