Can we have more official Feast tournaments?

We already have amazing community run tournaments featuring top teams, I think it would be great if SE partnered up with us to make them official.

I know I would personally love to have my team participate in any and all official SE LP events.

Didn't SE want to make Feast an e-sport? This is the only way to do that.

Yes, I know we are. I'm competing in it right now.

What I mean is that we run a one day tournament every once in a while already as a community. I want more things like that to bring more hype to light party.

This long drawn out LP season when realistically there are only MAYBE 5 teams that are actually competitive is a bit anti climactic. Let the top teams show off in a long one day stream to get more people interested in FFXIV PvP. Hell, even if SE just advertised the pvpapissa discord when we have a tournament would be a good start. We already have good shout casters and people organizing everything.

I'd rather see a focus on making regular PvP more engaging and active first.

I can load up Overwatch and jump into either competitive or casual play in a matter of minutes, sometimes seconds. In FFXIV, however, whenever the mood to PvP strikes me I'm usually looking at lengthy queue times even during prime time hours. It's pretty disheartening to say the least...and incidentally this very board seems a lot less active than it used to be.
