I was thinking how some NPC classes can better use their buffs and some casts while running a couple. I don't play many DPS classes so I would not know how to enhance them too much, and I main PLD and WHM so the other tank and healer classes are a bit awkward for me.
Tanks:
- If health percentage lost within 3 seconds is equal to or more than a defense buff will cover, cast it.
- Tempered Will: If bound or heavied and is taking damage, cast it.
- If there are multiple hostiles and one hostile's enmity is 3/4ths of the way onto another party member that is not a tank, cast an AoE enmity increasing spell/skill not in rotation.
- If there is only one hostile and that hostile's enmity is 3/4ths of the way onto another party member that is not a tank, cast a self enmity increasing spell/skill not in rotation.
Healers (WHM/CNJ):
- If a party member's health is less than 100%, target party member and cast cure. If there are multiple party members with less than 100% health, target party member with lowest health.
- If a party member's health is less than 50%, target party member and cast cure II.
- If multiple party members healths' are less than 50%, get within best range of all party members and cast cure III or Medica if available. If Medica II is available and within range of 75% or more of the party and one party member within range does not have the effect of Medica II, cast Medica II. If not in range, switch to second bullet targeting party member with lowest health.
- If a party member is suffering from a esuna'able debuff and target party member has 75% or more health, override cure and cast esuna on the party member.
- If party members are losing 25% or more of their health within 3 seconds, cast a healing buff.
- If hostile's enmity is 50% or more toward self, cast an enmity decreasing buff.
- If all party members are at 100% health, use offensive spells/skills.
Just some initial thoughts for the betterment of timing things for the NPCs in Missions.
Also, I don't know where to put this. I am new to these forums. Thank you in advance.
