So.. SMN pet control...

I was wondering around healer roles forum and read something about sch pet's responsiveness change, that manually activating certain skill will forcefully stop current pet's action and cast commanded spell instead, guessing you can force Eos or Selene to quit casting embrace halfway to cast other spells like whispering dawn and so forth.

It was covered in live letter or so I remember.

Will it mean that same change will be applied to SMN pets as well? a.k.a garuda please listen to me...

Unfortunately those changes did not apply to Summoner pets. Contagion unresponsiveness is still the same, so you have to time it in between Wind Blade casts just like before.

No those changes affect summoner too. There is still some delay, but it is not that bad as it was before.

Can't see where it says it effected SMN at all, if anything it's clear it only effects SCH.

So I guess it was supposed to affect summoners, but it did not. But I think contagion not have that much delay as before, but can not be 100% sure about that.

I mean perhaps they should just let it effect SMNs as well, and then see what the feedback is from the players. I can't see it being game breaking or anything, but if not the Egis then there is always a delay with Demi Bahamut at some point that needs fixing....

SMN would be fine if Wind Blade was instant. I feel the same way about the SCH pets to be honest. All of their abilities should be instant given how the engine works atm.

Demi-Bahamut seems to have much less delay than Garuda does with Contagion.

dunno why, but some smn actions did feel more resposiv after 4.3.., just not all

wonder if SE cycled back their statement on smn, cause it didnt / couldt cover all if the smn pet actions accordingly??
