Joke's on you, the T-Rex has actually been thoroughly lampshaded as to why it can fly.

Though at this point, they can hand-wave mounts flying just by virtue of being exposed to the WoL's aether for long enough...

Fancy aether is pretty much my head-canon as to how dinos and bears and such fly, they're riding around on all those aether currents we had to find and unlock.

That thing looks more like seahorse than insect,what I mean is “Proper Insect”.

as long as its not cockroach.

Honestly, I think they were going for a dragonfly to be honest and not really a seahorse. The Tiny Tatsunoko minion is a seahorse for sure, but the kongamato? Definitely a dragonfly inspired mount.

Nightmare is my favorite mount, the coolest of them all. Except it doesn't fly or has no music, which makes me a very sad panda.
