Can we let the Unicorn fly?

When I first got the unicorn mount it was really fun. I was then really disappointing that it couldn't fly. Its also a little frustrating to see other mounts like the holiday bear being able to fly.

Would it be too much to just add a little bit of glitter to the unicorns feet and let it fly?

I know Nightmare can't fly, but it still has a horn and dust thingies after it. So, close enough even if it doesn't fly.

Kirin can fly, but it doesn't really have a unicorn horn, so maybe not as close as Nightmare.

It would be great to see the rest of the horses being able to fly and hopefully with style and not a simple effect, it's not like it would take ages to give them Pegasus wings made of light that would appear only while flying!...

Tbh I just wish all old school mounts could fly, going forward we're just going to be flying everywhere, they already set the standard no turning back now so might as well just let everything fly.

They might make the older mounts fly (except the original tank ones, seeing as the new tank ones gain armor and that, apparently, makes them fly). One of the recent Q&As, someone asked this - can't recall the answer. Really disappointed Sleipnir's fly animation just ended up being a rip-off of the Dark Lanner's aura. Considering how long people were asking for him to fly (beginning of HW + he's cash shop), half expected a little more effort put into it, like large leathery wings. Oh well.

If they're worried about the lore behind it (which they shouldn't be, some mounts just outright don't make sense flying), they can give us a quest like they did for Chocobos where they give a widespread lore explanation to why suddenly all those mounts can fly now. Cid cooked up an aether device, we found something, etc.

They could use the Hoverstone from the original Final Fantasy that you use to get the airship to fly.

One of my favorite mounts is a tiny ball in the shape of Whisper from Yokai watch...

... I think we're well-passed worrying about "lore."
