The content I get the most enjoyment out of these days is the MSQ and general fluff like new emotes or glamours that have a relatively short shelf life in the grand scheme of things. If not for having at least one diehard fan of this game for a friend, I would likely have lost incentive to resub each month as I am not a raider and the dungeon grind routine has gradually worn me down to the point that its simply not enjoyable to me.
Same. I've completed lots of relics, and always do my roulettes, so I have run my fair share of dungeons.

When I get burned out on dungeons, I tend to just stay away from them for a while. That's the easiest way to build up the incentive to do them again, I find. Allow the rust to settle in before running them again if doing them with a familiar job, or take them on as an different job, or even role to start the learning process all over again. But one thing I always tell myself when running dungeons is that we are all there for some reason, and no matter your role you are helping the others in your group obtain their objective. Community service is probably not the biggest incentive to run content, but it really does go a long way in keeping everyone subbed.

I know you are on a legacy server, so I am not sure if you have ran alliance raids, but those can be a change up from the standard dungeon. The chat is often amusing, and they seriously remind me of a playground where everyone is pretty much doing whatever the hell they want. If you're a glam chaser, there are SO MANY to be obtained in the 24-mans.

I am happy to hear that you have found companions that help keep you logging on. If they ever leave, you come and find me.

Ahaha, that would be the friend I was talking about, Clover. She 'might' be accepting commissions? I'm unsure as of right now but I'll leave her DA link here in case you were serious(I hope that's allowed). If you are interested though, you might want to keep in mind that the specific commission as seen in my signature is a bit unique as her sister had added in some extra touches I believe, so you should check out her other work first before deciding.

I think its a bit passed that stage as I have taken many, very long breaks from dungeoning in general and the appeal seldom comes back. I used to really love 24-man raids but something happened from Dun Scaith onward where I had very oddly lost interest.... which I can't really explain since I thought Mhach was awesome. It took my friend ages to convince me to come along and finally tick Rabanastre off my list before Ridorana...? Riodor-....Ri-..... THE LIGHTHOUSE ONE was released. I did both and enjoyed them! Beautiful visuals, nice fights that weren't too stressful(despite enjoying a bit of that chaos back in Mhach, I welcomed a bit of ease this time), and yet I stopped at a single playthrough both times. Its odd, though I guess since my small group that I would play with has been whittled down to pretty much just the two of us, doing things like that feels a bit less like a bit of random fun and more like a responsibility, so the allure of them wasn't quite so enticing. There are some very nice armours from those raids, as you said, which I normally would be quick to farm but I guess a bit of my 'Tanking Shyness' got the better of me this time around so I never rushed off to grab them. I don't know, it feels like I keep finding excuses when it comes to 24-man raids these days and I am honestly not too sure why!

My friend, Clover, is more or less my only active friend remaining as I was never one to seek people out but, as close as we are, it does make it feel somewhat lonely these days when I am more interested in a much more laid-back approach to content and it would have been nice to have more voices to liven up the shells or runs... but oh well! At the very least, she will play this game until either she or it dies, so there's no worry about that incentive bailing on me at least, haha.

..............buuut! That was a really sweet thing to offer, thank you! Even if it came to that, I am admittedly far too shy around people I don't know well but your comment did make me smile a lot!

@knahli Oh yeah, I was definitely serious. I love having commissions done (seriously, my old character Kaiva had like 11 or so done for her haha). I'm at work, but I have that linked saved, so I'll reach out to her in the near future to see if she's accepting. Thank you
