POLL: what style server merge do you prefer?

1)Straight server merge:

- Server A & B are combined to form server 1

2)Free choice:

- Select what server to move to?


A lot of people are upset with the thought of people who they have gamed with over the past 17 months suddenly being on a different server. Or even more so the people who have taken a hiatus from the game to return finding no familiar names or friends.

So maybe with enough support one way or another we can steer the dev team to a new decision on how to handle server merge and world populations.

If you have an further input, as in alternative merge methods or thoughts post it, and keep this thread bumped for forum goers in different time zones.
