Yes, yes I know SE have the 0.10% drop rates and randomization because it is a effective way to make content last longer. But really it's a little much not even allowing us to trade them from the loot list while still in the instance.
As a girl that went 1/47 on Ifrit for a weapon only to get a Lancer weapon that my fiance (in the same fight mind you) would have loved. And me being a devout Conjurer, I was somewhat... saddened.
I propose at least some of the following changes and suggestions:
Allow Primal loot to go into the loot list for a ONCE OFF ability to give to another (Inside the instance only)
Change it so that the weapons of the jobs you do not have leveled to the required level to equip the weapon have a lower chance of dropping and those who meet the requirements a higher chance.
Introduce a feature where we can trade in unwanted Primal weapons to the designated NPC for totems/nuts or other needed items for future primals. The given amount of items will not equal to anymore then a third the cost to get a new weapon of the same type and higher costing weapons will never have a value more then the original.
Eg. Trade in Ifrit's Lance = 3 Inferno Totems OR 3 Kupo Nuts
Trade in Malignant Mogaxe = 3 Inferno Totems OR 6 Kupo Nuts
This way you can not hope to farm 'easier' primal weapons solely for trade in BUT it will keep the community interested in old primals (and helping those who want old primal items). The interest will remain because even if you do gain a Primal weapon you did not want, you can trade it in for a small amount of another primal's tokens.
This would be a problem for 'Collectors' I suppose, but let's hope that we later get storage that means we can technically hold 2 of the item, Much like with our current Easter Chocobo hats.
Oh and pray that Garuda doesn't need 30 Gale totems and Leviathan need 40 Tidal Totems because a +10 on every new primal is something I know I could personally live without ^^;;
Please discuss and thank you! <3
