Add SMN/SCH pet to party list?

Is there a way to add a SMN or SCH’s pet to the party list. Like how it is added to your list when you summon it yourself?

As a healer, I have seen a few SMN pets die before and I kind of want to heal them sometimes if I get a chance to.

Currently there is no way to add it to the list unless your job is the one that summoned it. Although as part of pet mangement technically the masters should be able to handle it through using Sustain/Physick and any other healing stuff etc. Alternatively they can just re-summon the pet to recover is health to full, or summon Demi Bahamut.

A party of eight summoners and/or scholars who each have both a pet and a chocobo companion summoned can turn into a party of 24, which would make the party list pretty unwieldy. I think that was the point behind excluding everyone else's.

But I agree that with a more typical party composition it could be useful, particularly in dungeons where the chocobos aren't going to be out anyway.
