Sadly, I can't help but agree. As a former LS leader that despises the way many people conduct themselves on 30 different linkshells at once, I can't help but chuckle at the folks that are crying about the server transfer saying that they can't possible move to a server that will have all their friends on it. Ain't that a bitch?
(more specifically the people with 30 shells that bounce around and pop up when its time to do stuff thats been organized, but are never around when someone needs help.)
Wow an attack on a guy thats doing everything he can for the FF community and has revolutionized the way SE communicates with its fanbase for their FF online titles, even these forums are his doing, while sacrificing health and free time in every aspect....grow up.
Please have a little respect for how much this guy does for this game. I can't believe anyone would honestly think the guy would sabotage a title he is the Producer/Director of. Hes doing his best, and had to make a difficult call and gave only one single request. That you keep the comments constructive.
Remember, Yoshi-P is getting 2-3 hours of sleep on a day to day basis. Do you honestly think his pay is the sole reason behind him coming to work today? Cause I can assure you hes not making a million a year, which is what you'd have to pay me to live on a schedule like that.

Yup. Yoshi-P The Destroyer of Friendship came over and kicked your sand castle. You're absolutely correct in every way.
No thank you.
whats surprising to me is that from the replies that i see from the jp threads (yes i can read jp) and the US threads, the JPs were in outrage of the decision. Usually they are so polite but half of the replies were downright mad that it was so amusing to read them. It tells me that they hold high importance on 'togetherness' and especially in such a decision that could leave pple out, depending on the situation of LS and time.
When i compare both threads, it makes me think the US side doesnt give a damn, and no wonder the game only listens to the JP side most of the time. This side is stomping their own members down and telling each other to suck it up and deal with it, while the JP side is rallying together like a horde against yoshiP
FFXIV Since Sep. 2010: Selbina/Ridill/Excalibur (Mergers)
Currently moved to Leviathan
I remember the Alpha days when even breathing lagged you
I think Yoshi-Ps recent post about changing this too choice two more than shows he cares about the community.
Yoshi-P is my hero.
He always makes life so exciting on the forums![]()
I don't mind the loot system...it is way better then people being greedy. In FFXI I would always low man stuff because if I didn't I'd end up waiting months and months to basically get nothing and have to pass stuff to people in cliques. No thanks! >.<
Weren't people just complaining like 1 month ago they didn't have any more friends because they all left?
So why now are people defending their non-existent/no longer playing friends?
Ya'll crazy.
No, they never complained about that. They also never continually posted information about supposed server population numbers.
They also neverabout when P2P went live everyone would quit.
So why on earth would they complain about losing people who were supposedly long quit or left after P2P? Silly Veran.
