My conclusion Yoshida got booted from some LS for being a total noob in DAoC or whatever MMO he played, and now as a director is taking it out on all linkshells.

Thanks a lot Yoshida you screwed us once again! Way to stick it to those linkshells!

(btw I'm not advocating in-game voice chat I think that idea is stupid, I just think Yoshida's explanation much like his explanation for why we have to have the stupid primal loot system show that he isn't exactly a staunch defender of the interests of cohesive linkshells)
wtf is wrong with you?
do you LITERALLY think Yoshi sat back in his seat and went "hmmmm.... i honestly, in all respects, despise the concept of community in video games....lets do this!" or is it plausible that they came up with what they felt was a solution to a problem that needed to be addressed? the servers need to be consolidated, thats the bottom line.
the current option two still gives people the opportunity to go where they want. if your friends are so close to you then youd follow them and theyd follow you. neither 2 or 4 are much different, you will still lose friends that want to transfer servers either way.
so is the best decision to now allow any server transfers? i dont get it!!!
