Yeah, im guessing gunblade user is definitly one of the higher possibility. Wether or not its for blue mage or another class is a whole other question.

I have felt this was a strong possibility as well. Even the absurd idea of two gun blades seems like a possibility to me... they have to push build up hype for a Tank role somehow.

I mean, we've had characters who've fit the blue mage archetype in the series who've used staves, whips, giant forks, and spears, not to mention the traditional swords for the games with job selection. You have the potential to go with a lot of things, or even something totally new and different.
