There are quite a few head pieces have molded ears for miqo (and I think Lala?), but not all. With Viera and the full-helments, they could always make the ears just go flat underneath the hat vs. molding insanely long ears onto the head pieces.

I didn't think about having the ears fold back for the helmets.
