I continue to hope for Ivalician Moogles, though given that Montblanc has appeared as a common-as-mud Moogle, it's unlikely to happen.

All I care about is becoming a Bun Boi
I still want a viera, I don't care if we have half human and have cats and lizards in the game xD i want to be a legend sexy bunny ok?

welcome to second life everyone
Hey, SE. Wanna make lots of money off me? Make Lupins playable, and I will hit you in the face with a fat wad of cash, for fantasia.
Three Ilm Knights, One Thousand Malm Road

Not a fan of Viera, but if they make a new race, I'd rather they expand on the new race they sort of added in SB, the Lupin. I mean, since some people have this odd obession with bunny girls like Fran, mind as well, make Viera a female race and make Lupin a male only race. With Vieras, I just can't imagine male vieras and with Lupin I can't imagine female lupins. Male Vieras would look odd, and female Lupins would look worse, especially with all the fur. I know we already established the 2 gender races in this game, but for these 2 races, one gender for those races would seem more pleaseable on the eyes. Course, since I love guys and I'm sort of a furry, I'd go for a male Lupin in a heartbeat, depending on how well SE designs them.

I will respectfully disagree. There is nothing I dislike more than gender-locked races. It often makes zero sense in lore and reeks of laziness and pandering. Plus, male Viera do exist and it would be easy to imagine a tall Amazonian man with long ears (please. cat boys. it is exactly the same concept.) and there is female Lupins in the game right now. They look exactly like male Lupins. Not a fan of Viera, but if they make a new race, I'd rather they expand on the new race they sort of added in SB, the Lupin. I hate it when males are delegated to being bestial and the women being humanoid and beautiful. Either do both genders or none at all.

No matter what new race they add, it'd be nice (in my opinion) if you could create a new character of that race and pick up at the latest expansion.
[Brainstorm incoming]
Maybe you could only play a certain new class and you would start in the new zone. Maybe other characters wanting to pick up that class would be taught by the native (whatever race), but that rave could choose it at character creation. Maybe they could start out at a lower level than 70 and have a different "intro" to the overall game and expansion than the character who you leveled originally to get there.
It could be a feature available to players who have completed all the MSQ on a character already up to that point.
All I know is it would add to the immersion (instead of going through 2.0 as the new race and having no one react to that, much like with Au Ra), and avoid all the catching up going through the MSQ again. It would also be alt-friendly for players with distinct characters in mind.
I doubt they would ever do this, but I would love it if they did.
Hello fellow human, I think these would be nice for something a bit less human
