You could turn this out in a positive way and see the opportunity to make new friends.

If this is ruining your game experience, I'm glad you never had to move while you were young, that would have ruined your life. At least you have your linkshell friends.

I did move as a child, 100 miles to a different city. I lost many friends. It was a terrible experience. That had to happen, my parents split. This shattering of friendships does not have to happen.
