The current paying community outweighs the current nonpaying(possibly 2.0 returning) community.
People who are paying shouldnt have to deal with low population servers.
People who are not paying don't currently matter because they are not logged in or paying.

The fact that people think that server merge options wont be offered at a later date is just about crazy. It's pretty much an MMO standard now.

Stop asking the same damn questions.
No one is against server merge, this is a server merge.
It's just not the merge you want.
