It's also not hard to coordinate with your friends. The only people who'll be "too late" are inactive people or if you're in the group who'll flock to only the first 3 servers on a list because you think it'll be most populated (which it ends up being cuz of like minded people.)

Some of us have more than 2 or 3 friends, some of us have 50 or more that are divided in different LSs that might have different interests and decide which server to join differently.

I have friends that started playing on another server, and I think its awesome we can choose and get together on the same server, which we couldn't with forced transfers, how hard is that to understand?

Maybe just maybe, we could have both options like Yoshi-P keeps saying and both of you would be happy. Also this has been done before a recommended with an option of going anywhere.

They could reccomend a server to each player before transferring (i.e. Lindblum players are recommended to choose Server 3) so that you have both options.

It's not rocket science.
