I've been depressed about this ever since it was announced. I picked Figaro specifically because FFVI was the only Final Fantasy with a furry for a main character. How will I roleplay my catgirl fursona now, knowing that I'm not on a server with like-minded individuals? I don't want to be fursecuted.

Unless they happen to be inactive for whatever reason in the time period and get shuffled to a random world.
But this thread isn't about organisation, that it the easy part 'everyone go here' or 6ysahl 7rabia 8esaid etc.
This thread is about the fact that regardless of our organisation; all of Besaid might be called Trabia against their will etc

Yeah it does suck about the names however there is one thing i do know Karnak will not exist by the end of March it has an appaling population

Yes, and I do not want to come off as insensitive to those severs who are being abolished completely but with a total reduction... that is something that can not be helped. Letting us know what is and is not cut can be helped.

...character transfers will be required for all existing characters. Players must select a new post-merge World for their characters, and will be reassigned automatically should they not do so by the established deadline. We urge you all to review the World Merge Summary and the Notes Regarding the World Merge.

To select a destination, an existing playable character must be associated with a player’s service account. As long as a player has at least one usable character, a destination World may be chosen for all characters in the service account, including characters that have not yet been paid for.

The Bold parts say to me that only Current Subscribers will be part of the transfers. If you are Currently Subscribed but do not choose a New World by the deadline, one will be assigned at random (your own fault).

I do not think they will be transferring any inactive accounts.

If I am wrong, please clarify Reps...in fact clarify this even if I am right. ;>P

If you have an inactive account, your characters will be held in limbo, when you log on you will be automatically added to a world.

I think not choosing to release names is a huge shortsight on SE's part, I chose Mysidia because I loved FFIV, and lets get this out there, we all know if Mysidia and Fabul went to war Mysidia's mages would raise Fabul to the ground.

I know Mysidia is in the top 10 worlds, and if my linkshell goes there again, I would go there straight away.

I sorta see the reasoning behind that; if they keep the current names, people will simply flock to their servers again and lock it, completely ruining the whole point behind the transfer. I know, the idea to going to a town like lol Bodhum does suck, but this is needed.

Or else everyone in besaid will move to besaid, lindblum to lindblum, and those from Karnak or Istory will get screwed over once again.
