Question for the new Interior Design Contest

I would like to request a little official clarification please. The design contest has a large number of people on FB very excited (I can't wait to enter myself even!) but there's also some worry about the various housing glitches and if they're technically allowed.

My understanding is that glitches that are against the rules are ones that give players unfair advantages over others. Be it access to things, items, ability to beat a boss, whatever. The housing glitches, which have been talked about extensively on this forum before, don't fall under that category. There's no obtaining items others cant, no special advantage over other players, no none of that. It's simply stuff that looks cool and gives someone bragging rights about their cleverness until others replicate it.

So please, can we get a definite answer over if the housing glitches are against the rules? And if you enter a heavily glitched house you won't get banned or your house taken away? That seems to be a prevalent fear, and I don't want wonderful designers not to enter because of it.

Please, SE, we'd love a response on this. A lot of glitches weren't found by fiddling around with the system, but by complete accident. You can have items float without even trying to float it.

Official word would be nice, however past contests have had entries/winners that have used float glitches and such. Just make sure you don't use gpose or any visual filters when taking the screenshots.

That's actually really good to know. I didn't think it had been an issue in the past, but it IS a bit of a gray area and it'd be nice to settle the issue permanently. To calm the jitters if nothing else lol.
