Ishgard Grand Company would be nice, not really sure why we can't have it yet.

Yes, please. Why is this not a thing yet?1. Repair other players gear inside and outside of dungeons.
While this would be nice, people would still choose the path of least resistance, sadly.2. Variable ways through dungeons, either through multiple paths, or by choosing which monsters to face.
I can get behind this. Give you more location options for gathering items.3. Expand gathering items to other areas and utilize more of the slots.
I don’t really do a lot of Gold Saucer stuff, but this could be nice. I did like your idea of selling past event items for MGP during Gold Saucer promotions. That would maybe tempt me to do the content more, as I don’t have anything I want to buy with MGP right now, so I don’t do it.4. Adjustments to Jumbo Cactpot payout for non-first place.
Pls.5. Fishers tackle box.
Yes, please. Or at least make it to where we don’t back out of the summoning bell menu completely, and at least return to the retainer select menu.9. Changes to summoning bell so we don't have to cancel out of the menu to summon another retainer, and a side by side menu to easily move items between two retainers.
I’d also like to suggest a feature for gardening — Fertilize All and Tend All. Harvest All, too, for those who do like me and plant a lot of shards, or other things that grow at the same rate. In general, I’d also like a more detailed menu of an entire garden, where you can see each slot, what soil is there, and what seed is there — maybe even an approximate timer for how much longer the plant has until it matures. And so you can plant seeds in this larger menu and not have to click on each bed.

The reason it was removed? Cross-Server DF. Originally Duty Finder was same server only. When they went Cross-server they had to gut a lot of things to make it work by reducing the need for data transfer. For some reason this included repairing other people's gear.

What's odd is that some items do have multiple source of nodes already. copper ore for example has 2 node spawn in W. Than and C Than. I mean why they stopped doing it?
Also tbh I think that if they will ever do a scaling type of dungeons they need give us more path to pursue, while what you say it's true about path of least resistance, I think we are at the point that we should just do it

Yes! I forgot about gardening, a UI or something would be nice, instead of all the presses and checking which is fertilized and such... blah.
Will continue to update main post, and thank you everyone for more ideas!

On spiritbonding, how about changing it to having the percentage of bonding to the success rate for conversion? So, nothing would actually change at 100%, 100% to get materia. But if you wanted to take a shot at converting a piece at say... 72%... 72% chance to succeed at getting a materia.
I don't understand why they just can't make Spiritbonded gear have increased stats once you get it to 100%. Spirit bonding is essentially useless for blue gear since you can't turn it into materia. On spiritbonding, how about changing it to having the percentage of bonding to the success rate for conversion? TBF the old crafting sets in HW were blue and could be spiritbonded, this expansion they allowed us to spiritbond dungeon gear, maybe in the next they will allow us to spiritbond tome/raid gear
Now this might be a bit crazy, but how about this:
If we can create 8 characters per server allow all 8 of those characters to share their glamour dresser space.
Every time a player unlocks the glamour dresser on a character, 200 slots are added to the total. If a player unlocks the dresser for all characters, they get 1600 slots.
An obvious restriction would be to limit retrieval of an item to the character that originally added it, of course.
Crazy, I know. However, they already have to reserve that space for a player to potentially create eight characters. It would indeed be grand if there were some way that all that dresser storage could be shared between alts.
That would actually be a nice addition. Good way for all your characters to have event glamours or cash shop glamours. Which sadly means they'd never make that a thing because gotta get that $$$.Now this might be a bit crazy, but how about this:
