Will FATE Participation Ever Be Fixed?

really, come on... all this time and it hasn't gotten any less annoying. it is driving me mad... MAD i tell you!

the sounds... the music... the ultimatum for your Duty List... need i go on? (hopefully not, because i either don't know anything else or have forgotten.)

basically it would be nice if the game says you are participating and changes the music and does the sound effects and messes with the Duty List ONLY if you actually press a friggin button to do so. T_T

Many of them are also poorly positioned and spawn directly on top leves and other quest-related things. Starting a leve only to have a FATE spawn directly on top of it 3 seconds later sucks (starting to think leves are programmed to trigger FATES because it happens so often). Especially when said FATE spawns like 15 mobs that massacre a /beckon leve NPC with AoE spam before you can even get them to move. I'd love a way to just make the FATEs ignore me if I'm trying to complete something else that's around the same level.
