When did this first start happening? Did anything change or update on your PC that coincides with this?

This only happens when you exit the game, correct? You can play the game without being interrupted by it?

Does this same issue happen if you use DirectX 9 mode?

What have you done so far in order to try and solve the issue?

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
I don't normally play on the laptop, but I'm travelling. I've previously used the game, here, without crashing 6 months ago.

It only happens upon exit. I've gone from Ul'dah to Shirogane to the Inn in Kugane without any crash, it only crashes upon exit (after the cutscene with the player going to sleep and fading out)

DX9 actually doesn't work, "A Fatal DirectX Error has occurred (1000003d)", and both the Windows 10 game mode popup and something about Lenovo Nervesense exiting happens after that.

With DX11 mode turned on, the crash from the first post will happen if I click exit without even logging in to a server. So it appears related to game cleanup/shutdown?

I turned the game mode's recording feature off and it still crashes on exit. Turning Nervesense off and exiting also doesn't change anything (this program came with the laptop and turns on the laptops cooling and also contains a recording mode.)
