Lol I dont envy you Bayhone, having to look through all these, wonder what you thought when you saw all the threads.Hey everyone,
I appreciate all the comments, questions and discussions taking place regarding the recent World Merge announcement but I would like to ask you all to try and keep discussions within as few threads as possible. This will ensure that the discussions are focused and help us to find and collect the points of discussion and accurately report them.
I appreciate everyone's assistance in this!
Other threads are about specifics, whereas this is looking at the broader picture, yes there are some dupes but they will prolly get closed soon.
Good luck with that its like trying to herd up lemmings.Hey everyone,

There is only one main point!Originally Posted by Bayohne

Don't deconstruct current servers to make new servers => merge exsisting servers to make new servers.

Could we please stop complaining about this and just coordinate with our friends and Linkshells to figure out where we're going to go, instead?
I think that's more effective than rallying and protesting against this. Let's be proactive for a change, people.
Well... "Common" sense isn't all that common anymore, now is it?
You're the one that's not being proactive. You're admitting defeat already!
And you're in the wrong section. If you actually want to do what you say you want to do then you should be in the world server forum subsection.

Then if it's the merged servers gets full and you STILL lose friends/shell mates...what would be the complaint then? Since that seems to be why people are complaining anyway, that they somehow can't coordinate with friends to pick a new server.
got few minutes before next e-mails all come in... most posts on the JP side against this decision is asking for the following.
1. Reveal the server names
2. Why couldn't SE just merge the low population servers and keep the large population servers while allowing players to decide if they want to move to another server they have this option. By randomly sticking people in random server if they don't decide by the due date will cause players who didn't subscribe at the moment but planning to play in 2.0 to be separated from his/her friends currently playing.
I can try translate some of them but dunno if I got time at work... at home haven't been on FFXIV for more than 2 hours last couple days because baby loves to stay up now >< + had other projects for making graphic design for my friend and stuff...
Here's easy one with lots of likes to translate and made me laugh..
That's a hypothetical situation. The entire point of these mergers is to make servers more populated and to reduce the server upkeep, so a filled server is pretty much the opposite concern at this point.
So why are people honestly complaining then? xD It still does what they're planning to do, trying to get people together and condensing the servers.
