
IMO, option 1 is the best option. German/French players already have niche groups within their individual servers and if they do not, give them the option to move.I think Yoshi underestimated the complex structure of the community.
He's basically asking for 18 spider webs to be dissected and reconstructed into 10 new and effective ones.
Webs don't work that way, and we shouldn't have to completely reorganize our social structure like that.
Simply looking at other MMO's, you'd see that this simply doesn't happen. It's like they're developing in their own isolated world, and while I'm sure that has it's advantages, looking at MMO history shows us that his concerns over options 1-3 are mostly unwarranted, due to the fact that they happen with little to no trouble.
If this is mostly a concern over European players, you can still have a recommended European server along with options 1-3.
At this point, I think server recommendations list would be the best route to keep people on both sides content.
Essentially, keep all the world communities intact, but let the outcasts move.
