About the World Merge and Character Transfers (02/09/2012)

New Worlds for everybody will (help) eliminate any sense of "ownership" and possible discrimination that server merges sometimes create.

This is how it is fair to everyone..or unfair to everyone depending on your POV..

Honestly--I think SE actually did something right for once. First off--this game isn't only catering to NA players, but like how others said it also caters to EU and JP. So just arguing it's not far that everyone has CHOICE to move is really kind of "lolwat". If I heard correctly people were worried before hand that they'd be tossed into another server and loose friends for X reason or loose their names they've so fondly grown attach to. Everyone has a name, you're not the only one who will have to be changing it--it's not fair--get used to it.

SE is a company that has to be far to ALL the players--That's the American(lol) and fair way right? Ya know, freedom for all--what not... Viva la Choices(ect)... Sure, maybe the EU players don't add up as much as the JP or NA--but they should still have the choice of not getting screwed over--JUST BECAUSE people have the delusion that 14 is run by the same director as 11 and therefore they will make the SAME choices.

Honestly--when people were merged in 11 almost everyone seemed to be unhappy(The whole GTFO our server--your server was X that's why you got tossed here cause we're awesome. ect). They grew out of it--cause you know--majority of players are grown-ups(at least I hope so)--they just like to act like children sometimes.

That's just human nature. If I also remember correctly--In the Terms of Agreement(you know...that thing NO ONE reads) AND on the box of the game. It states "Online play subject to change" or w/e...Something like that. Well guess what--it's changing! For better or worst--don't think everything is set and stone just because it's happening now--you know...In a currently DEVELOPING game... (Honestly I didn't read all of the Terms of Agreement--that'd just be creepy. :3)

For people whining about their friends--Yes, I have some sympathy to those who were forced on breaks due to boot camp or w/e. Those who quit to wait until 2.0 however...Good luck to you guys, most people here either like--or have hopes for the game. Hence they stay around through this X because they support the idea that this game will get better. I also heard that the director of this game worked himself into a hospital twice already--and you care so much about loosing your friends because what..? You can't make new ones?

You're so clique oriented that you won't work with other people if you really want something? Honestly then I don't really think you deserve it... If you want something you don't sit around waiting for friends who say they'll help you and end up going poof for awhile. Friends come and go--isn't that something you learn in school? Sure, be happy, get in touch--if you're really that much of friends then you'd probably talk in other methods? Like here on the forums for example.

And since I know this is probably coming; yes, people are back stabbers--you want to play with friends because it gives you more security--maybe more fun? That's life, yes it is a game and meant to be FUN--but this is a MMORPG--furthermore...It's a FF MMO! For any of you who played 11 a good few years would--or should be already used to this stuff(assuming you did endgame).

I can rant on and on--but most people would probably end up like me...TLDR N stuff... Like it or not it's happening, suck it up. The game is still in development don't think later on they won't add a world transfer service or something along those lines. Yea, you'll probably have to pay--it's a company--you know...Meant to make money--not bend over backwards to make you ALL happy and content like little puppies. We're already lucky they put a veteran MMO guy to direct this now who--if I heard correctly--actually tells us this and that is happening--even though he ISN'T suppose to.

Ok...So I'm ranting more...But in the end--in the immortal words of one of the richest men in the world--"Life's not fair, get used to it!"

Let's spend less time whining about it and like more recent post on this thread--more time getting ready for it. If you jump into the wrong server and regret it that's your fault. Though, it would be nice for SE to tell us which servers would be merged with World # if you really care about those who dogged out because the game being in development and are waiting for the 2.0 relaunch...Or the few who were actually forced off due to personal business(the only ones I can really give sympathy for).

Both speak English and in terms of gaming you'll more see NA/JP/KR/CN. Be realistic, how likely are you to tell someone is from EU rather than NA if they speak English?

Hence why I sided with the this actually being far for ALL not just NA. Donno if that was clear--I failed to use italics in certain parts to show my sarcasm... Since I--as you can see from count--do not reply most of the time to what I read on the forums. But this was just lols and I just had to make an account to reply to this. xD
